Survey Camp conducted by Department of Civil Engineering
Department of Civil Engineering conducted Survey Camp for B.E 6th semester students successfully from 12th to 15th February 2020 at Nagarjuna, Ramtek. Total 63 students have participated in the camp. This camp was aimed to groom Civil Engineering students with essential knowledge and exposure to the real work, and to encourage leadership and teamwork skills. The four days camp was divided into eight groups in various surveying exercises - First two days included Fly Levelling, Compass Surveying, Theodolite Surveying and Contouring for Basin Survey and on third day, One day workshop on Total Station Survey was conducted by Tarakunj Construction and Consultancy, Nagpur.
On the last day, layout of Building plan was plotted. Dr. A. N. Dabhade, Coordinator of the camp, along with faculty members namely Sri. L.C. Tibude, Sri. D. Mandal and Mrs. Sheetal Kathikar. The faculty and students worked hard for the successful conduct of Survey camp. In the camp all the students learnt all the technical aspect which is required in Surveying
