One day workshop on ‘Rooftop solar panel installation’
One day workshop on ‘Rooftop solar panel installation’ organized by Department of Electrical Engineering on 24th March, 2023.The Workshop resource persons were Mr. Shashikant G. Kewte, Arinnac Solar and Electrical firm, Nagpur and Mrs. Shital S. Kewte, Assistant Professor, YCCE, Nagpur. The total participants including staff and students were 130.
In the workshop, manufacturing process of Solar Panel, different tests which are useful for Solar installation , Applications related with renewable energy sources, selection of kW rating of solar panel , effect of temperature on solar panel and the necessary connections which are being used for solar installation were discussed. The practical session of the workshop was conducted on the Institute’s rooftop solar panel of 250 kW systems which has been already installed.
Dr. Avinash N Shrikhande, Principal, focused on the importance of use of solar energy in daily life. He encouraged the students about the career in renewable energy. Mr. Bhanudas D. Tale, HOD, Department of Electrical Engineering guided the participants about the importance of conducting the workshop. Mrs. Sujata R. Alone, co-ordinator of the workshop, summarized the content of the Workshop.
Mr. Shubham S. Nimbekar, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering conducted the proceedings of the workshop. The satisfied feedback of the workshop was given by the participants. The valedictory function was conducted by Mr. Kaustubh R. Sonar, Assistant Professor. The certificates of the workshop were distributed to the participants by the hands of dignitaries.
Mr. S. K. Ksheersagar, Assistant Professor and Mr. Shubham A. Harane Assistant Professor, worked hard for the successful conduction of the workshop.
