KITS, Ramtek celebrated 77th Independence Day
The 77th Independence Day was celebrated at Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek on 15th August 2023. Independence Day is the most celebrated day of the nation. This day is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and patriotism. We honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and pay our tributes to martyrs who lost their lives for achieving the freedom. The Principal, Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhnade hoisted the national flag. This was followed by National Anthem ‘Jan Gan Mana’ sung by the attendees. Teaching/Non-Teaching staff and the students attended the celebrations. On this occasion, Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal during his Independence Day speech, gave information about the institute and activities conducted during the academic year 2022-23. He appealed to the students and staff to work harder as well as smartly to take our Institute to the next level of greatness.
It was pleasure to have the presence of the 1988 batch alumni on this occasion. Sweets were distributed among the staff, alumni and students.
Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean (SA), Dr. Uddal Hatwar, NSS Program Officer, Mr. B. Venkanna, NCC Incharge, Mr Daipayan Mandal, Cultural Club Incharge, Mr. Dinesh Joshi, Incharge of Physical Education Department and the Project Engineering Section worked hard to make the celebrations successful. Sejal Chourasiya and Preet Sathe, welcomed and thanked all the dignitaries and students present.
