One Day Workshop on “Prototype Design and Development”
A one day workshop on “Prototype Design and Development” was organized by Institution’s Innovation cell and Incubation centre under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek on 15th May 2023. The workshop was inaugurated by Chief guest, Dr. Prashant Agrawal, Vice President of Vidarbha Plastic Industries, Nagpur . The chief guest was the resource person for the workshop.
The resource person Dr. Prashant Agrawal initially explained the need for innovation and how innovation can be done in various products by giving various practical examples. Later he discussed prototype design and development and steps in the incubation process.
Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, KITS, Ramtek focused on the importance of innovations and research in technical education. He emphasized that innovation should be user friendly, marketable and economical.
Dr. Satish K. Bhele and Dr. Dhananjay C. Katpatal worked as a Coordinator of the workshop. The committee members- Dr. Snehal Malode, Dr. Heena Ansari , Dr. Krushna Padole, Mr. Shripad Ksheersagar, Mr. P.G. Pokley , Mrs. Minakshi Chauragade, Mr. Kantesh Hande and Mr. Gaurav Diwatelwar worked hard for the success of the Workshop.
The anchoring of the workshop was done by Ms. Khushi Kurve and Mr. Shyam Nimje. The session was ended by a vote of thanks given by Ms. Netra Sahare. Total 260 participants attended the workshop. The participants were from faculty, students of second year of various branches of engineering.
