Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, hosted the 3-day "National Level Technical and Cultural Youth Festival" Teknodeon'25 from 6th to 8th March 2025. The event concluded on 8th March 2025 in the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Aditya Bhatia, Vice President, Tech Mahindra, Nagpur. The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Hon. Shri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, Vodithala Educational Society, Hyderabad.
Aditya Bhatia emphasized the importance of technical and cultural events in enhancing skills to face challenges in professional careers. He also highlighted the need to improve soft skills in addition to technical skills for the success in the professional. He also pointed that the present students are the future leaders of India.
Shri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, Vodithala Educational Society, spoke about the significance of participating in both cultural and technical programs. He emphasized that such involvement helps students develop their talents beyond academics and fosters leadership qualities. He also congratulated the students for the successful organization of Teknodeon'25.
Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal urged students to focus on personal development through participation in various competitions, rather than merely aiming for victory. He emphasized that these activities provide valuable experiences that contribute to overall growth. He also appreciated the success of the events, attributing it to the combined efforts of all the members of various committees.
Dr. Sanjay Kumar Borikar, Convener of the event, gave concluding remarks, appreciated the hard work of all students and faculty members. He summarized the various activities conducted during Teknodeon'25, such as Youth Parliament, National Conference, Poster Presentation, Treasure Hunt, Art Festival, Boat Race, E-Sports, Archery, Hackathon, Open Mic, and Juke Box.
Mr. Zubair Sayyed, Student Coordinator, summarized the events conducted during Teknodeon'25 and thanked all the student organizers and faculty coordinators for the smooth conduction of the events.
The certificates, mementos and cash prizes were given to the winners and runners by the Chief Guest Mr. Aditya Bhatia, Hon. Secretary, Shri. V. Srinivasa Rao and by the Principal, Dr. Avinash Shrikhande.
A large number of students from KITS, Ramtek and other engineering institutes participated and contributed for the grand success of Teknodeon'25.
The valedictory program was hosted by Jaswini Gulpalli and Vinod Metta and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Vivek Yelkapelli, Student Coordinator.
Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean (Student Activities) worked tirelessly to ensure the success of Teknodeon'25.
