Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, is hosting the 3-day “National Level Technical and Cultural Youth Festival” Teknodeon’25 from 6th to 8th March 2025.
Teknodeon’25 was inaugurated by Colonel Ankur Bhatnagar, Officer Commanding, 2 Mah. Signal Coy, NCC Nagpur. The inaugural event was presided over by Honorable Shri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary of Vodithala Educational Society, Hyderabad.
Colonel Ankur Bhatnagar, in his address, emphasized the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving success. He shared thrilling experiences from the Kargil War, highlighting the discipline and team effort that led to victory. He encouraged students to be persistent, hardworking, and to have a give-up approach. He also challenged engineering students to consider joining the army, drawing inspiration from his adventurous journey during the war.
Shri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary of Vodithala Educational Society, spoke about the significance of participating in both cultural and technical programs. He emphasized that such involvement helps students to develop their talents beyond academics.
Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal of KITS, urged students to focus on personal development through participation in various competitions, rather than merely aiming for victory. He emphasized that these activities provide valuable experiences that contribute to overall growth.
Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean of Student Activities, introduced the various competitions and activities scheduled during Teknodeon’25. The festival features an exciting array of events, including Youth Parliament, National Conference, Poster Presentation, Treasure Hunt, Art Festival, Boat Race, E-Sports, Archery, Hackathon, Open Mic, Juke Box, and more.
Dr. Sanjaykumar Borikar, Convener, introduced about Teknodeon’25. Mr. Vivek Yelkapelli, Student Coordinator, explained the various activities that will be conducted in the Teknodeon’25.
The inaugural program was hosted by Neha Chikhle and Rudransh Chandankhede. The vote of thanks was delivered by Zubair Syyad, Student Coordinator.
