The Annual Sports Awards Distribution Ceremony 2025 Concluded at KITS
The Annual Sports Awards Distribution Ceremony was successfully held on February 21, 2025, at Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek. The event was inaugurated by Sri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Honourable Secretary, Vodithala Education Society.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Dean (Students Activities) Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Student Sports Representatives Ms. Pratiksha Bhokare and Mr. Prithvish Padmanar, teaching and Nonteaching staff, and a large number of students were present. While addressing the gathering, Secretary, Sri. V. Srinivasa Rao emphasized the importance of participating in various sports along with academics. He stated that team sports instill discipline among students and contribute to their personal development. He also expressed hope that students would represent the institute at national and international levels in the future. Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande encouraged students to maintain a consistent interest in various sports along with their studies. Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar delivered the introductory speech. During the event, students were awarded certificates of appreciation, Medals, and mementos. The event was successfully organized with the efforts of the Dean (Student Activities), Dept. of Physical Education. The program was hosted by Ms. Vaidehi Kadu and Mr. Harsh Sahare of final year B.Arch , while the vote of thanks was delivered by Pratiksha Bhokare.
