Independence Day Celebrations at K.I.T.S., Ramtek on 15th August 2024
The 78th Independence Day was celebrated at Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science, Ramtek on Thursday, 15th August 2024. Independence Day is one of the honourable celebrations of the nation. This day is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and patriotism. We pay our tributes to our country and martyrs who lost their lives for the freedom of the nation. The Principal, Dr. Avinash Srikhande hoisted the National flag. This was followed by the National Anthem ‘Jan Gan Man’ sung by the attendees. All the staff and students were invited for the celebrations. The Principal addressed the gathering and highlighted the achievements of the Institute including the receipt of NAAC Grade “A”, Autonomy process and Student participation in various activities. Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean (SA), Mr. Dinesh Joshi, Incharge Physical Education department, Dr. Uddal Hatwar, NSS Program officer, Lt. Rajat Yadav, Associate NCC officer , Mr. Daipayan Mandal, Incharge Cultural Club worked hard to make the celebrations successful. Ms. Pragya B. Jha student of Third Year Computer Technology Dept. conducted the proceedings. The NCC march past conducted on the occasion was led by Ms. Saudamini D. Kandarkar, Senior under officer, NCC and student of Final Year Information Technology Dept.
