Common Annual Training Camp (CATC) of NCC at Saoner
2 Mah Sig Coy NCC, Nagpur had organized a Common Annual Training Camp (CATC-613) at Saoner, during 22nd – 31st July’2024. Total 21 NCC Cadets of KITS, Ramtek participated in it. There were total 310 cadets from other Schools and Colleges from Nagpur region participated in the camp.
During the camp, NCC unit of KITS, Ramtek received the awards, i.e. – i. Best Champion Award, ii. Best Drill Competition, (Winner) iii. Tug of War Competition (Winner).
On 26th July, Kargil Vijay Diwas was commemorated in which Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, KITS, Ramtek was the Guest of Honour who participated in the events like Rifle Shooting and Tee Plantation drive which were led by Lt. Col. Ankur Bhatnagar. Various activities like Map reading, Health and Hygiene classes, Tug of War, Drill Competitions, Volley Ball, Quiz etc. were conducted during the camp proceedings in which NCC Cadets participated enthusiastically and demonstrated an overall excellence. The camp concluded with a cultural night on 31st July 2024.
The NCC Cadets of the Institute were guided by the Assistant NCC Officer Mr. Rajat Yadav.
The NCC unit of the Institute has been congratulated by Sri V. Srinivasa Rao, Hon'ble Secretary and Dr. Avinash Shrikhande, Principal for the display of excellence and enthusiastic participation during the camp.
