Seminar On Project Based Learning
Research and Development (R & D ) cell and Incubation Centre of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science, Ramtek organized a seminar on “Project Based Learning” for the faculty and final year students of all engineering branches on 13 July 2024 in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
In the introductory speech, Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, KITS, Ramtek emphasized the importance of project work in the final year and advised the students to learn about the different steps required to carry out project work. He also stressed flexibility while selecting a project topic.
The resource person Dr. Kishor Bhoyar, Professor, Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur explained the steps in detail that are required to carry out project work in the field of computer science. He categorically emphasized that one should take the help of artificial intelligence appropriately in the project work. Lastly, the resource person advised the students to select a quality project to help get placement in good companies.
The other resource person Dr. Rahul Ralegaonkar, Professor, VNIT, Nagpur initially explained the need for the project and how the project can be selected based on experimental, industrial problems, and computational analysis. He appealed to the students to select projects based on the needs of society. Later he discussed the significance of the time frame to complete project work.
Dr. S. K. Bhele and Dr. D. C. Katpatal worked as a coordinator for the seminar and the anchoring for the seminar was done by Dr. Minakshi Chauragade and Mrs. Harshita Jain, Asstt. Prof., Total of 182 participants attended the workshop.
