NATIONAL LEVEL BUSINESS PLAN CONTEST
("BIZEXPLORE")

RULES & REGULATIONS :

  • Participants will have to register by submitting their Business Plan along with the prescribed application form by e-mail on bizexplore.kits@gmail.com
  • Business Plan should be submitted through e-mail followed by hard copy.
  • One contestant can send more than one Business Plan.  But, you will have to register separately for each business plan that you/your team submit.
  • Maximum four students in one team
  • At first stage, Screening of Business Plan will be done wherein 10 best entries will be short listed.
  • Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
  • Short listed teams will be intimated by E-mail.
  • Selected teams will give presentation at KTIS, Ramtek before the panel of judges (Time:20 min.)
  • First best three business plans will be selected for Prizes rest will be given Certificate of participation.
  • Each team will come at KITS, Ramtek at their own epenses.  However local hospitality on the day of presentation will be provided by the institute, KITS, Ramtek.
  • Every contestant must agree with the rules of the contest and must agree to accept declaration of confidentiality.
  • Every participating team will submit the business plan through their respective head of institution/department with registration form and fee for each entry.  Registration fee may paid by cash or DD in favour of "MBA Forum" payable at Ramtek.

LOCATION OF KITS

Ramtek is one of the important pilgrim centre and tourist attractions of Maharashtra State.  It has both mythological and historic importance.  It is hallowed by the feet of Lord Rama when he visited the ashram of the great sage Agastya on the hill nearby.  It is at this holy place that Lord Rama took a vow to destroy the demons.  Hence the place came to be known as Ramgiri or Ramtek.  It is about 45 km from Nagpur and is well connected by road and rail.  The institute is 7 KM from Nagpur-Jabalpur, National Highway (NH-7) towards Jabalpur.

Ramtek is very pleasant during the month of February with minimum temperature of around 20o C and maximum of  30o C.  A natural waterfall at Totaladoh and water sports at an artificial lake at Khindsi, Kalidas Memorial, Maharshi Agastya Ashram, historical Shri Ram Temple are other main tourist attractions around Ramtek.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Any student pursuing full time MBA/PGDM/PGDBM/MIRPM/MCM etc. of courses and are enrolled in a university or an educational institute can participate.

  • Individual participation is allowed in the competition through participation in team is encouraged.

  • Entrees must be original work of contestant.

    1. Submission of soft & hard copy with fees                                  :  03rd Jan.2010

    2. Intimation about short listing                                                     :  08th Jan.2010    

HOW TO SUBMIT PLAN & REGISTRATION FORM/FEE

Registration fees is Rs.300/- per entry.  It is to be submitted in the form of Demand Draft in favour of "MBA Forum" payable at SBI/UCO Bank, Ramtek and Business Plan with application form.
