As a part of inauguration of Silver Jubilee Celebrations, the Foundation Day was inaugurated by the beloved Principal Dr. Bhaskar Patel by garlanding the statue of Late Prime Minister Shri P.V.Narasimha Rao and by cutting 25 Kg cake as Institute is marching into 25 years of academic excellence.  Dr.Bhaskar Patel appealed to the staff to devote their services for the progress and development of the Institute.  He also informed the gathering that about 3000 alumni of the institute are settled in around 16 foreign countries.  He also recounted the services rendered by the employees of the institute in the progress of the organization.  All Heads of the departments also expressed their views and wished for future success.  The 3rd edition of KITS news letter were released by the Institute.

One this occasion the Helping Hands Club of KTIS, students distributed school uniforms tot he needy students of local Deaf and Dumb School.

The NCC cadets of 2-Mah Sig. Coy NCC-KITS, Ramtek organized a Tree Plantation programme under the guidance of Capt. P.M.Randiwe, Coy. Commander on account of Foundation Day of KITS on 19th Sept. 2009 in college campus.

Water purification plant (RO System) inaugurated by the Principal and Project Officer.

Literary Club has organized  Inter collegiate Debate and Turn Coat and winners were awarded the prizes of total of Rs.6000/-.

The function conducted with cultural programme in the evening.
