Our institute was temporarily housed at Samarth Junior College in the town of Ramtek with the co-operation of Sri Samarth Sikshan Mandal management before shifting to the current own premises. The campus sprawling over 19.8 hectares (50 acres) is about 3 KM from Ramtek town on Ramtek-Mouda road. Well laid out roads with high grown trees, wide lawns and beautiful rose gardens were developed to enhance the aesthetic charm of the campus.

As on date, KITS has a built in area of about 40880 sqm.

The institute established a good infrastructure of computing facilities with 604 computer terminals and 11 servers. All departments are connected by LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity with 1 Mbps leased line facility is provided for INTERNET access to the students and staff. Computer Labs are open for students with extended hours (up to 21.00Hrs) on all working days.

Recognizing the relentless efforts put in by the Institute for academic and overall excellence, the government of Maharashtra bestowed 'A' Grade to the Institute twice and accredited twice by NBA(AICTE) New Delhi.
